How can I access my agency profile?
- To view your agency from within the volunteer portal, you must first sign into your own user account. Once signed into your account, click on the tab at the top of the page titled “My Agency/Agencies” and select your agency to assume the manager role.
Why am I not seeing my agency profile?
- If you are not seeing your agency after trying the above steps, contact community@handsonneworleans.org. Chances are you are not an account manager on the profile and therefore do not yet have access, but it’s an easy fix!
What tools does an agency manager have?
- An agency manager has access to post volunteer opportunities, or needs, on the volunteer portal. Additionally, they can access volunteer data, manage volunteer check-in/hours, add or delete agency managers, and edit any and all information on the agency profile.
How to add an agency manager to the agency profile?
- Any current agency manager has access to this feature, however the person you are attempting to add as a manager MUST have an existing user account with our volunteer portal. On the edit tab of “Agency Manager” mode you can type in the individual’s email address. If they are already a user then their email will pop up and you can select it to give them manager access. What if they’re not already a user?
- If the individual you are attempting to add as an agency manager does not currently have a user profile with us then they must first sign up for one here. Once the profile is created you may then go in and complete the above steps to add the new manager.
What happens once a volunteer signs up for a shift with your agency?
- Once a volunteer has signed up for a need, the agency managers associated with the agency will receive a notification alerting them. It is then the responsibility of the agency/agency manager to respond to the volunteer with further instructions and next steps about the project.
