It is our mission at Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation to create and provide is an athletic, recreation and leisure program for people children and adults with special needs to encourage an active lifestyle, support social, cognitive and physical growth, as well as facilitate the development of meaningful relationships for individuals with developmental disABILITIES.

A local training program for SPECIAL OLYMPICS that depends on volunteer coaches to develop skills levels in athletics that include: basketball, bowling, softball, volleyball, bocces special events and and much more. AND it's true...YOU CAN make a difference!
