Family Service of Greater New Orleans

FSGNO has a rich 120+ year legacy of providing services to the New Orleans community. Our mission is to strengthen the emotional health and foster the self-sufficiency of families and individuals.

Family Service of Greater New Orleans provides free or low cost mental health services to the greater New Orleans area. Programming focuses on trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, parenting, prevention education, anger management, diversion and intimate partner violence. We assist clients in issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, ADD and socioemotional learning. Services are provided individually, to couples, and in groups at our Canal St. office as well as in the community.
