Mission and Vision

In a world where computer programming or coding, is a language of creation, NOLA_CODE exists to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn computer science.  In pursuit of this vision, we work to erase barriers that isolate the neediest students, minorities and those from under-served communities, from the field of computer science.

NOLA_CODE brings computer science instruction to PreK-8th grade students by carefully selecting and training passionate educators to teach coding, physical computing, and robotics, and strategically placing them in the schools and community centers that serve youths who otherwise would not have access to a computer science education.
