NOAGE's Mission is to lead in addressing issues related to LGBTQ+ aging in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. In partnership with its constituents and allies, NOAGE works to achieve a high quality of life for LGBTQ+ older adults, supports and advocates for their rights, fosters a greater understanding of aging in all communities, and promotes positive images of LGBTQ+ life in later years.
NOAGE provides regular socialization and educational opportunities for LGBTQ+ older adults, and also works to increase the cultural competency of providers through trainings and workshops.
