Compost NOW (New Orleans Waste)

Compost NOW (New Orleans Waste) is a volunteer-driven community composting project which empowers local residents to take control over the issue of food waste.

We offer local residents a place to drop off their frozen food waste, to be turned into nutrient-rich compost. We offer ten different locations, six days a week, at different library sites. We partner with eight local farms.
