What We Do

VIA LINK operates a 24/7 contact center in New Orleans and answers several helplines including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, 2-1-1, The Phone, Crisis Teen Textline, and others. On our helplines we provide short-term crisis and suicide intervention, emotional support, and information & referral to health and human services. VIA LINK is also responsible for community outreach and education. During times of disaster, VIA LINK remains operational and functions as a point of contact for disaster-related information and and available resources as well as emotional support.
