Needs From: HandsOn New Orleans

Sangha House NOLA is seeking a Mindful Social Media Steward to help tend and grow our digital community with the same care and intention we bring to our sacred space. In this role, you will craft and share content that reflects our commitment to liberation, healing, and compassionate community in New Orleans' 7th Ward.

You will translate the energy of our offerings, meditation retreats, contemplative practice, Dharma cultivation, and community gatherings , into an authentic online presence that honors the fullness of every being we serve. This is an act of service and storytelling rooted in the Buddhadharma, the wisdom of ancestral traditions, and the boundless love that holds this sangha together.

The Mindful Social Media Steward will work closely with our current marketing lead to ensure our voice remains grounded, consistent, and true to who we are. We are looking for someone who brings a serious and sincere interest in deepening their own practice, someone for whom this role is an extension of their path, a form of engaged service, and an expression of their commitment to collective liberation.
Skills & Responsibilities

reate and schedule content across social media platforms that reflects the spirit and values of Sangha House NOLA

Write recaps of retreats, events, and community gatherings that capture the heart of what unfolded

Draft and publish posts for offerings, announcements, and community milestones

Design and support the production of flyers and digital graphics for events, retreats, and programs

Engage with our online community with warmth, mindfulness, and authenticity

Collaborate closely with our marketing lead to align messaging and strategy

Support the amplification of our programs, retreats, and Dharma offerings

Bring a consistent, grounded presence to our digital platforms that mirrors the energy of our physical space

help sustain our Silence Of The Roots Community Garden , at Sangha House NOLA a buddhist meditation center located in the 7th ward.
