STEM Library Lab is hosting their annual Service Learning Program Award Ceremony where over $300,000 will be award to 100+ teachers who are implementing service learning in their classroom this academic year. This is a cocktail attire event. Guests are served beer, wine, and dinner. They are encouraged to mingle and talk to other teachers who have completed similar projects and to take photos with our BIG CHECK to show off the grant money that has been awarded to their individual schools. Principals and Admin are invited.
We are looking for 3-6 volunteers to help with setup which requires arranging tables and chairs, building a balloon arch, setting up food/drinks, and assisting with general preparation of the space. During the ceremony volunteers will help serve food, drinks, make popcorn, and direct teachers to interact with the Meetup Fair taking place. This is a fun opportunity to engage with teachers in the building!
The event is from 4-7pm but volunteers may leave early as there is less need to be serving food, etc. after the ceremony begins. You will receive an email 2 days before confirming event details and responsibilities.
