The Green Project is seeking volunteers for the City of New Orleans Household Hazardous Waste Day on October 24th, 2020.
Volunteers will assist the Green Project in handing out information and educating the public about The Green Project’s programs and how to safely dispose of waste paint.
Volunteer Guidelines
- What to Wear and Bring:
- Please bring and wear your own mask!
- Wear closed toed shoes
- Dress for the weather
- Bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.
We welcome college students in need of community service hours, adjudicated community service volunteers and members of the community simply looking to get involved.
All volunteers must check in with Erin, The Green Project’s Program Coordinator, before and after the shift.
The volunteer shift will run from 7:45am – 1pm.
Please do not come if you are feeling ill or have a fever, or if you have been around someone who is ill.
