The Acorn Farm is an organic, nonprofit urban farm and community space dedicated to increasing food access and education in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans. We envision a community where residents have access to produce that is truly local, affordable, and delicious.
Our small, yet mighty team relies on volunteers to help keep our farm running. Volunteers are an integral part of continuing The Acorn Farm's work in our community.
We host volunteers on the third Saturday of every month from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
