The Broadmoor Food Pantry serves 500 families a month. Broadmoor is a food desert, and it's difficult, and expensive, for many of our low-income families to access fresh produce. As part of our efforts to maintain a healthy community, we are installing a community garden for our pantry! In partnership with Green Light New Orleans, we're going to install two garden beds on Wednesday, May 15th. If you are interested in helping, especially helping us transport materials (most of our pantry volunteers cannot provide this service), we would be very grateful for your help!
