The New Orleans Pride Organization is looking for some reliable people to help with the Parade on June 8.
The New Orleans Pride Parade is the largest LGBT+ Parade on the Gulf Coast with more than 60 participating groups and 26 Mardi Gras style floats totaling over 3,000 participants. We are looking for some dedicated Parade Marshals to help us get groups checked in, directed to their line up position, and floats loaded in accordance with the City of New Orleans rules and regulations.
Additional duties may include:
- placing harnesses on the floats
- ensuring proper people are on each float
- working with the Parade Captain on additional tasks
