High Voltage is dedicating our 2021 Holiday Christmas Toy Drive to honor Mr. Fred Parker, New Orleans own Santa Claus. Fred Parker, who was affectionately known as 7th Ward Santa, Parker was "Chocolate Santa" for more than 40 years or (5 decades). He would pose for Christmas photos with children all across New Orleans.
High Voltage has permission of the Parker and Lewis families to honor Santa and is looking for a few elves to assist with collecting the toys. Interested volunteers must:
1. Register on Hands On New Orleans.
2. Complete the High Voltage Volunteer Application (will be emailed to volunteer).
3. Sign High Voltage Waiver (if doing gift delivery).
4. Assist in collecting toys or delivering toys to local agencies (homeless shelter or children group homes)
