We are in need of volunteers to help deliver food pantry boxes to home bound clients, primarily in the Upper and Lower Ninth Wards. We also have pantry clients in Gentilly, New Orleans East, St Claude, and St Roch. Deliveries are organized by geographic location to maximize efficiency and minimize drive time. Each driver will be assigned 12-15 clients to visit.
For safety reasons, volunteers must wear closed toe shoes and be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
