You may volunteer for a shift scheduled directly after an orientation. ***If you are interested in volunteering as a group, please email volunteer@thegreenproject.org to schedule a volunteer day. Groups are scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Volunteer Guidelines Please bring your own mask; masks are a must! Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older What to Wear and Bring: Wear clothes that can get dirty or paint stained Wear closed toed shoes Dress for the weather Bring a reusable water bottle (cold, filtered water provided) Bring snacks, especially if volunteering for 2+ hours Apply sunscreen and bug spray regularly (both provided, but we recommend bringing extra)We welcome students in need of community service hours, adjudicated community service volunteers and members of the community simply looking to get involved. Volunteers with the following charges (past or present) are not eligible to complete their hours at The Green Project: theft of any kind, sexual assault or misconduct of any kind, or violent crime of any kind.
