Volunteer: Help Resurrection Gardens with weekly garden maintenance!Resurrection Gardens is looking for volunteers to help with weekly garden maintenance. Current needs are clean-up post Ida, soil amendment, and raised bed maintenance / building. The garden has access to a recently demolished gymnasium and needs help relocating bricks and cinder blocks to the garden. David lives across the street from the gardens and is open to volunteers coming from the hours of 9am to 7pm. Please reach out to David directly to coordinate day / times with him. His phone number is 920-265-2963. This is an ongoing, Monday - Thursday opportunity. There is a potential to get your own raised bed for growing if you become a consistent, weekly volunteer. That can include tasks such as planting seeds, checking on and watering plants, pulling weeds, harvesting and mowing grass. Additionally our Master Gardener lives near by and is able to guide and provide gloves/tools for the volunteers. Volunteers are able to choose either 1 hour or 2 hour shifts to make sure we are staying out of the heat for too long. Please do bring water for you to stay hydrated!
