A Safe Space f St. Charles

A Safe Space is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. We provide temporary housing, trauma-informed counseling, and comprehensive resource referrals to help survivors move from crisis to stability. In addition to direct services, we actively partner with other nonprofit organizations and community leaders to expand our impact. Through community outreach initiatives, “Talk It Out” sessions, work readiness programs, and job skills training, we empower survivors with the tools, confidence, and support needed to rebuild their lives and regain independence. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where healing begins, hope is restored, and new futures are built.

A Safe Space of St. Charles provides temporary housing to women and children of St. Charles Parish who have been victims of domestic violence.
