Chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA, the Girl Scouts Louisiana East council, provides the Girl Scout Leadership Experience in the 23 parishes of southeast Louisiana. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Girl Scouts Louisiana East provides the best leadership experience to girls, grades K-12, in southeast Louisiana. With the guidance of supportive adult volunteers, girls get to lead their own adventure and team up with other girls in an all-girl environment, choosing the exciting, hands-on activities that interest them most. Along the way, they’ll gain important skills in four areas that form the foundation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience: Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM); the Outdoors; Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship.
