Big Class needs volunteers to support our Pizza Poetry Day Celebration! This event is to celebrate Big Class's fifth year of Pizza Poetry. Pizza Poetry is an annual initiative in which Big Class goes to schools all over the city to help students write poetry. Then, on Pizza Poetry Day, when you order a hot pizza from one of the best joints in town it comes with a fresh poem. While pizzas are going out all over the city we will be celebrating with some pizza of our own at the Corpus Christi Community Resource Center. The event also celebrates the 5th Year Pizza Poetry Anthology, a book culminating some of the best poetry from this years workshops and years past which will be released at the celebration.
For the Pizza Poetry Day Celebration we are in need of volunteers to help pass out pizza, as well as run various stations at the event such as a kids area, book distribution, and more. Pizza included!
