TRICENTENNIAL NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT 3: High Voltage and NOLA Trash Mob continues to press towards 1,000 community volunteer hours to improve the Treme/Lafitte Neighborhood. Join us on Saturday, September 15th for a Day of Service for the Treme|Lafitte Community and Picnic. We will gather neighborhood residents, volunteers and tourists to celebrate the Tricentennial and beautify the neighborhood. As a part of our project, volunteers from the neighborhood will pick up trash, and plant flowers to create a fall theme. This project will requires 2 hours, from 9:00-11:00 followed by a Saints Pep Rally for volunteers from 11:00-12:30pm. Please wear your Saints Attire to Pep Rally. Sponsors: Healthy Blue, Loew's Home Improvement, Praline Connection Express, Waste Pro and Walk On's. Musical guests include: The Treme Brass Band.
