We have been closely monitoring the status of Hurricane Laura are moving the date of our usual meal distribution to ensure the safety of our volunteers and drivers. We're recruiting meal packagers for Friday, August 28th to ensure we can get additional meals out to our homebound neighbors again this week. Please sign up to volunteer if you are healthy, willing, and able to serve. We will be in touch with those who register as updated weather information becomes available.
Location & Notes: Our packaging operation happens under a covered parking area in the parking lot of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana's building. Please arrive at the parking lot near 2500 Iberville, and park nearby on either Rocheblave or Dorgenois. PPE and water will be provided, however restroom access will be limited.
