Help nonprofit Common Ground Relief care for the thousands of native trees in our Lower Ninth Ward nursery! Trees and grasses are used for wetlands restoration projects and urban stormwater retention efforts.
Tasks may include, watering, weeding, constructing ponds/beds, and re-potting.
Wear clothes that can get dirty and are comfortable for any type of weather (cold, hot, or wet). Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes that may get very muddy. Bring a lunch, water bottle, mask, and sunscreen.
