VEGGI Farmers Cooperative in New Orleans East needs your help prepping their overgrown rows for Fall planting!
The weeding will take place this Sunday, Sept. 26 from 4:30 - 6:30. Please wear sunscreen, bring a hat, and water. Please note there is not a public restroom at the farm.
Maddiy will be there to show you the ropes -- the farm address is easy to find in Google Maps. Please bring your own gloves if you prefer to wear them while weeding, as they will not be provided. These types of maintenance is done by hand at VEGGI by the farmers so we will have limited tools for assistance.
Limited to 12 volunteers. Please know we do need this help and to only sign up if you are serious about attending, since it is limited space.
