We are preparing a community garden in the Lower Ninth Ward. The garden will include in-ground planting, raised beds for residents to use, a starts and transplant area, and composting. We need help spreading mulch, creating rows and walkways, and planting.
Please wear comfortable, gardening-appropriate clothing and shoes. We will provide tools, gloves, water, and snacks.
