The City of New Orleans is partnering with several local organizations, including The Green Project to make Mardi Gras more sustainable through the "Recycle Dat" Initiative. Help do your part to keep trash off the streets, out of the drainage system, and away from the landfill. For this pilot program, we will collect beads, aluminum cans, and glass bottles. The NOLA Ready Volunteer Corps will engage with parade goers, pass out free throw donation "crawfish sacks" (collection bags), and supervise the recycling bins. The Green Project will be at Hub# 3, if you'd like to work directly with our station please be sure to select the correct Hub when registering.
