Join the Recirculating Farms team Saturday April 13th from 10am-2pm at our Growing Local NOLA Community Garden a for spring community cleanup day!
Tasks for the day include:
- Helping us do some repairs to our community fridge shelter
- Giving our raised beds and pallet fence a fresh coat of paint
- Laying down cardboard and mulch
- Building trash bins
- General garden site maintenance
Volunteers should:
- wear closed toe shoes
- wear weather and task appropriate clothing (we suggest pants!)
- bring a water bottle
- be prepared to sign our liability waiver
RecircFarms will provide:
- Bottled water, juice, and seltzers
- Snacks and finger foods
- Work gloves and appropriate tools
- A weekly cleaned ADA compliant port-o-potty
- Endless gardening knowledge!
