Serving Unhoused Populations

Grace at the Greenlight is a 501 c 3 non profit organization that serves the street homeless in New Orleans. Our mission is to offer New Orleans' homeless persons choices and to provide for their basic needs (water, food and community) in a loving manner that embraces the human spirit.
Since it's founding in 2014, Grace at the Greenlight has served over 260,000 meals, distributed over a million bottles of water, installed 11 water fountains, clothed 7,750 individuals, and reunited 2,825 people with their loved ones.
Grace at the Greenlight provides food, water, and community to homeless men, women and children living on the street in New Orleans. We also reunite people who are homeless here with loved ones who are willing to provide a place to live and a supportive environment while they get back on their feet. Grace at the Greenlight provides a trained social worker who coordinates communication, arranges transportation and follow-up case management to ensure a successful transition.
