Meals with Love-Breakfast

Description

We are seeking volunteers to assist in serving a hot breakfast & coffee to our local unhoused community.

*IMPORTANT:  WE HAVE MOVED LOCATIONS!  AS OF THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH, WE WILL BE SERVING AT THE OZANAM INN, 2239 POYDRAS STREET.  PLEASE ARRIVE BY 6:05AM AS WE BEGIN SERVING AT 6:15AM.  STREET PARKING ONLY (FREE).

Volunteer information:

  • Duration - We ask our volunteers to arrive by 6:05AM.  Breakfast is served from 6:15-7:20am.  Volunteers will be finished at 7:20am.  

  • Task - Volunteers will be asked to serve a full, hot breakfast to about 150-200 unhoused individuals.

  • Location - Ozanam Inn, 2239 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70119

    • Once you arrive, please walk through the front gate to the first glass door on your right. Our staff or security guard will let you in.

  • Parking - Parking is limited to street parking on Poydras Street (free). 

  • Safety - A security officer is present at all times for the safety of our guests and volunteers
